Choctaw Residential Center is a dually certified skilled nursing care facility with one hundred and twenty beds.
The Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians opened the facility in 1987 while Chief Phillip Martin was in office. Chief Martin had the desire and saw the need to provide quality care for not only the elders of the tribal community, but surrounding communities as well. Choctaw Residential Center is committed to providing the highest quality of care for our community and surrounding areas.
Choctaw Residential Center provides individual and specialized care plans to meet the healthcare needs of our residents. We are both Medicare and Medicaid certified. We provide a home-like environment to help the residents be comfortable and protect their rights as residents.
In addition to being a long-term care facility, Choctaw Residential Center offers a short-term rehabilitation program for recuperation after surgery, accident, illness, or disease.
